Hey kids – my most recent podcast interview, for “DrumGAB” is now up on the podcasts/interviews page. I had a great time talking to Seamus Evely about mostly non-drumming subjects, from my basic introduction to Lou Gramm’s band to philosophical ideas such as natural law and values…definitely different from the other ones I have done. Check out other DrumGAB episodes as I have, which had prompted me to contact Seamus in the first place about his unique show. Coming up in the last week of June will be the next Lou Gramm show in White Sulphur Springs, WV, and from there I fly directly to Chicago to take part in my first (hopefully not last) Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp. I am honored to be a Camp Councilor and look forward to meeting some great people and jamming with some legends. From there, more Lou Gramm in July!
Mid-June update and “stuff like that”
Rock Fantasy Camp – Lou Gramm News
I’m happy to announce that I’ve been added to the list of Camp Counselors in the upcoming Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp in Chicago from June 28 – July 1! I’m honored to join an awesome lineup of great musicians who will have a blast counselling our campers how to rock out playing some great music along side some of their favorite stars! As of me writing this, there are still a few spots left – check it out at http://www.rockcamp.com. In Lou Gramm news, we had to cancel our Lake Tahoe show at the last minute due to Lou getting sick (hopefully the show will be rescheduled), and our show in the Dallas area on June 1 (or June 6 – depending who you ask – lol) most likely will be rescheduled in August. Next show up will be in West Virginia in June. See you soon!
May update
Getting ready for more shows upcoming in the next couple of months – we’ll be heading to Lake Tahoe, Dallas-area of Texas, and down the road – a show with Dennis DeYoung. I also am working on appearing on another yet-to-be-announced drumming podcast. Good stuff – see you out there soon!
New endorsement!
I’m honored to now be part of the Rimshot-locs family! Their RSL-2 locks are awesome – and are now on my Ludwig Supraphonic snare drum. Because I always knock my snare drums out of tune, these help me incredibly. Now, I can actually get a drink of water in between songs – instead of rushing to retuning the drum! Thanks to GT Albright and everyone at Rimshot – Locs!
April Update
We had a blast in Orlando – the weather was great and so was the show! Next up, San Antonio’s Oyster Bake on April 20 – sounds like fun to me!
Successful 80’s Cruise + New podcast online
We had a blast on the ’80’s Cruise – the crowds went nuts – we loved playing for you guys and hope to do it again! Next up is Orlando, Florida on April 7. Also, the latest podcast interview I’ve recently done for “Working Drummer” is now on the Podcast page – go check it out, it was a lot of fun and covered topics not discussed in my last interviews. See you soon!
Coming up next…..!
Looking forward to sailing the high seas – we will be playing on March 18 and 19. Gonna be cool!
End of February Update
Hey kids! The first show of 2018 is in the books, and it was cold, but great to be back at it with Lou and the guys. Also, the first 2 podcast interviews for 2018 are in the books, and are now uploaded to the “podcast” page here on this very website. Coming soon will be my appearance on “Working Drummer” podcast, as well as an online written interview in RG Magazine. Upward and onward!
2018 Shows & Podcast Appearances-Back At It This Week
2018 gets moving in full gear this week with Lou Gramm “band” shows starting back up this Saturday in Indio, CA with Foghat at the Riverside County Fair and a couple of podcast appearances! Wednesday February 24 I will have the honor of being the first drummer to appear on the awesome podcast “Amps and Axes”, and then Thursday February 25 I will be appearing on the great “Drummers I Like” podcast. I will post when they become available on ITunes.
Upcoming podcasts and interviews
Hey guys – check out the updated “Podcasts-Interviews-Reviews” page here on this very website – my brief appearance on Jackie’s Groove/Entertalk Radio at NAMM is up, as well as my recent appearance on the “Kick It With Johnny” drumming podcast.
