Hey kids! The first show of 2018 is in the books, and it was cold, but great to be back at it with Lou and the guys. Also, the first 2 podcast interviews for 2018 are in the books, and are now uploaded to the “podcast” page here on this very website. Coming soon will be my appearance on “Working Drummer” podcast, as well as an online written interview in RG Magazine. Upward and onward!
2018 gets moving in full gear this week with Lou Gramm “band” shows starting back up this Saturday in Indio, CA with Foghat at the Riverside County Fair and a couple of podcast appearances! Wednesday February 24 I will have the honor of being the first drummer to appear on the awesome podcast “Amps and Axes”, and then Thursday February 25 I will be appearing on the great “Drummers I Like” podcast. I will post when they become available on ITunes.
Hey guys – check out the updated “Podcasts-Interviews-Reviews” page here on this very website – my brief appearance on Jackie’s Groove/Entertalk Radio at NAMM is up, as well as my recent appearance on the “Kick It With Johnny” drumming podcast. Links to those are on the page. Future upcoming podcast appearances include “Drummers I Like” in February, and a yet-to be scheduled appearance on the “Working Drummer” podcast. See you out there with Lou Gramm!
Hey kids – welcome to 2018! This year should prove to be a great one. Coming up on the horizon are the following events: Thursday January 11th, I’ll be appearing on the revamped drumming podcast “Kick It With Johnny” at 8PM (the link will be up on my social media pages soon). At the end of January, I will be attending NAMM in Anaheim, CA. There, I will be appearing at the Drumtacs booth at 1PM, joining my buddy JC Clifford for fun and excitement! I’m looking forward to checking out all of the new gear and networking with as many people as I can. In February, we start the Lou Gramm “band” gigs back up in Indio, California at the Riverside Country Fair, playing with our buddies in Foghat. Other dates are starting to pop up in 2018 for us as well!
2017 was a great year, and we finished it off in style at the Riptide Festival in Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Florida. We had a great band this year featuring Lou, Myself, Michael Staertow, Jeff Jacobs (new to the band this year), Scott Gilman, and AD Zimmer. Looking forward to see as many people as possible in 2018!
Heading to Toronto for the day to hang with my buddy JC Clifford for a great day of drumming. Come on down if you’re nearby!
I’m proud to announce that I’m now a member of the KBrakes family! Their excellent products keep my gear from moving and sliding during a show – check them out at http://www.kbrakes.com! Thanks to Wes and everyone at KBrakes!
More drumcam videos are on the way – keep an eye on my social media pages – there’s some great stuff from a killer angle from our recent show in Newark, Ohio. Here is the ad for our next show, which will be in Ft. Lauderdale Beach, Florida. Check out the lineup!
